Iyuno-SDI Group raised $160M led by Softbank Vision Fund 2

Iyuno-SDI provides subtitles and other media localization services and has raised $160M in funding from SoftBank Vision Fund 2. After Iyuno Media Group acquired SDI Media last month. Described to TechCrunch by CEO David Lee who started Iyuno in 2002, the process helps Iyuno to perform localization services including subtitles, dubbing and accessibility features along with this Iyuno also built its own neural machine translation engines helping its human translators work more quickly.  Big shot clients of the company have been Netflix, Apple iTunes, DreamWorks, HBO and Entertainment One.

With the completion of its merger, the Iyuno-SDI Group works at a combined 67 offices covering 34 countries providing localization services in more than 100 languages.
